Sometimes

Sometimes in life you get a real eye-opener. Well in the past month I have gotten several eye-openers. It is amazing how when you ask God to show you specific things how He does so but not always in the ways you would think or expect. I am not going to give specifics but I will say God has brought me to a new level in Him. Not only did he take me to higher level of trust with Him but He also showed He would open doors if I brought to Him, left it with Him, and trusted Him. Well let me say this month (even though it has just begun) has been just that. I know life has a way of bringing you down and all that but when you push through all that and put the devil in his place in Jesus name...you are opening the door and inviting Jesus into your life to do great and awesome things! I thank Jesus daily for all He does, with Him nothing is impossible!

I am leaving y'all with a prayer request. A Childress football player was seriously injured at the Thursday night football game. He underwent emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain and to drill holes in his skull to help reduce swelling. As of the report I heard last night he is still in critical condition and still in ICU. I don't know if this young man will live through this injury or not but I do know a God who is in control and can heal him 100%. I don't know his name, we refer to him as the Childress football player. Also the family of Sam Hunter needs our prayers. Sam was injured in an accident and passed away Saturday. Thank you for keeping these two families in your prayers.
